The Dire Wolves
|
Leader of the Dire Wolves, Dirran Rathbone.
The Warleader of the Dire Wolves, Dirran of the Rathbone Clan, son of Gul, is a strong
and competant Ogre fighter originating from the Nomadic main town. Armed either with two weapons, or a shield, he
can adapt to most battlefields. Dirran knows all too well the troubles that plague his home town and hopes to
forge new alliances with new found friends. Thoughts plague Dirran as to his successor, with no offspring he
knows should he fall the end of his clan is certain. |

2 ic of the Dire Wolves, Head Alchemist for the Wolves Faction, Sirok Nugaur.
The Dire Wolf second in Command, Sirok is a Lizardman from the Norn Swamps, in the
East of Dire Wolf lands. Sirok is an alchemist, a low level Mage, Corporealist, and archer, and serves as the diplomatic
face for the group. He departed the Norn Swamps with the Warband, to guide Dirran. Now assigned as Head Alchemist
for the Wolves Facton, and keen to enter the Celestial College, Sirok is keen to expand his knowledge further.
The coming Time of Change should see Sirok undergo a great physical alteration, prehaps returning as a mere
shadow of his former self... |

Lead Ranger, LoRac
Lorak hails from a peaceful trading tribe, whos migration patterns stays close to the lizard kin territories of the Norn Swamp. After showing
moderate skill at foraging he was allowed to go alone, returning from many with success.
The peaceful and slow lifestyle gradually bored him and he started spacing himself from the tribe, to the point were he would wander for days/weeks
and return with horrific injuries. Worried, his father spoke to his friend Sirok, who agreed to allow him to join the warband.
Since then he has fought in huge battles, faced (and swiftly left) horrific monsters and many more amazing things which seem to be satisfying
his wonder-lust.... He still disappears from time to time, but always comes back even if it is sometimes without the clanky he left with!
He enjoys the danger and the adventure and always seems to find it

High Healer, Rand
Travelling with the Dire Wolves, and the Wolves, on the instructions of his father, Rand
has been brought up as a healer. Usually armed with his twin longswords, Rand is most often found running towards
danger, to where ever an ally has fallen; it was these selfless actions while assigned to the Hei Ravni in the
Forest of Erin, that Rand was rewarded with recognition, in the form of an Amulet of Thor, at the nightly Thing,
which Rand wears with great honour.

 |
Skirmisher/Archer, Eric Greyclaws
Still somewhat of a rarity in the Dire Wolves, Eric is a human. Armed with an array of
weapons, along with his bow, he provides some much needed offensive range to the Dire Wolves. Interested in the
working of metal after his time with the group at Renewal, this should complement the skills of the group well,
as well as providing another source of income.

Umly
Rand found Umly badly wounded by the side of the road with little memory of were she is from or who she really is.
He brought her to the warband after finding she was a high shaman. He helped train her to hunt; Missing mainly but she proved valuable at
finding other things, "yellow" included . She now also acts as message runner to Lord Wolf in battle. Using the power of a god, she also beat a
member of the Iron Legion, and so was made an honoury member. In her words "Hitter of cats, finder of shiney stuff, and chaser of squirrals are also
awesome titles in my opinion... I R SPONGE! I R SPONGE!"

Atrius
Atrius has decided to travel with the warband, seeking news on his lost brother.
The exact details of his past are hazy, although his heavy armour, and skill with weapons and shield make
him a strong, valuable addition to the Dire, adding a much needed fighter. The experiences at Renewal do
not seem to have revealed any new information about his brother, so it is hoped that he will return with the group
next year

Luna
Luna is a wolf beastkin from the Arctic Pack. In her pack females are dominant. She was born, with her brother
Sola, as the only set of twins in 100 years. The pack believed them to be sent from their
gods, Skoll, the wolf that chases the sun, and Hati, the wolf that chases the moon. When they reached their 18th birthday Luna became Ghodi
of Hati and Sola became Ghodi of Skoll, yet their bond as twins remained as strong as when they were cubs.
The death of her brother hit Luna hard and upon returning to her village she was comforted by Krash who became her mate soon after. She now
leads her pack due to the death of her parents over the winter.

 |
Heavy skirmisher/Scout, Krash
Krash is the Alpha Male of the same Arctic Wolf pack Luna originates from. Over the Winter, Luna chose Krash as her mate,
and with her insisting on continuing with the warhost, Krash agreed to escort her.
Krash is a skilled forager, it's his job to lead the hunts for the pack. He can also wear any form of armour, and has "aquired" a full
set of plate mail. He never uses it when out hunting however, as it is far too clanky.
He is very much testosterone fuelled, and won't back down from a challenge to his honour lightly. He is however very intelligent, and knows when
to cut his losses. Being a Follower of Fenris, his interactions with the Black Wolves will be interesting. In his words; 'They can try
to shiv me in the dark, but they're far more likely to have their spines replaced with a spear'.
